Jostens has announced the sale of their U.S. and Canadian school photography
business to Lifetouch. The company's core operation is yearbook production. Their photography
division represented only 8% of it's net sales for 2005.

The Ins and Outs of Cleaning Your Digital SLR Camera
Let’s first explain how a Digital SLR (DSLR) works. When the shutter release is pressed, the mirror opens exposing an electrical sensor to the light showing through the lens. This is the same mechanical feature that is in a film body with the difference of the electrical sensor instead of film. With the sensor being electrical, a small static charge is created any time you press the shutter button or any time you run current to the sensor.
