DataMatch User's Manual
With the Underclass season well underway, there have been floods of questions about DataMatch, our order entry software program. We found that most of these questions are answered in our DataMatch user's manual and could save a phone call. If you are working on a job after our business hours or on the weekend the manual is a great resource to help you through most questions. It is designed to guide you through every step necessary before and after the photography shoot.
We've worked very hard to include answers to common questions including how to name your jobs to ordering sports and underclass memory mate composites to what information is needed in a database for an underclass job. There are tips and tricks and a section on keyboard shortcuts to make data entry easier.
If you are a DataMatch user and would like us to send you a copy of the manual respond to this newsletter with "Send a DataMatch User's Manual" as your subject. The manual can also be downloaded off of our website at http://www.centurycolor.com/datamatch.html.

Friends of Joe Damon Benefit
As many of you know, long time friend and fellow photographer Lynn Damon's husband Joe was seriously injured in a car accident. Joe is progressively doing better and his recovery is well underway. A benefit will be held to help the family through this ordeal. Lynn has always been active in the photographic community helping other photographers and now it's our turn to help her and her family. We hope to see as many of you as possible at this event. Please spread the word so that we can have a great turnout to really show our support. Doing More Using the Displacement Filter in Adobe® PhotoShop®
In last month's “Creating Borders” series, we discussed the Displacement Filter method of creating borders. Since then, D. Craig Flory, PPA Certified, Cr. Photog., ASP has shown us a way to streamline the technique with fewer steps, still achieving similar results.
At the end of the article, we will show samples with detailed instructions so you can duplicate the border technique in your studio.
