The Best Photographic Convention and Tradeshow in New England is Right Around the Corner!

This year's PPANE (Professional Photographers Association of New England) convention is being held September 16-19 in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.  The theme is “The Gift of Imagery” and the line-up of speakers include some of the most creative photographers in the industry: Mark Spencer, Kalen Henderson, Craig Kienast, Elizabeth Homan, David Ziser, Dwight Okumoto, Nancy Mickle, and Don Emmerich.

Create borders using the Displacement Filter in Adobe® PhotoShop®

In last months “Creating Borders” Series we discussed the Layer Mask method. This edition will describe the Deplacement Filter Technique.
This technique will give you a truly unique border every time. If you use the displacement filter by itself it affects the entire image. Following the instructions below will only alter the border around your image.
