Back in the days of film, there really was only one option. Photographers had their film processed and then printed as 4x5 or 4x6 proofs for their customers to view. In the world of digital, this has all changed. Whether it’s a wedding, Bar Mitzvah or portrait session, Century Color gives you choices when it comes to presenting your work to your customers.

Your first option involves uploading the images to our E-commerce site powered by ImageQuix. It allows your clients and their family and friends to compare images and easily order prints online. You can choose from full-control events (you receive the orders and communicate them to our lab) or full-service events (our lab receives the orders and drop ships them to your customers for a small fee). This is a great option if you are looking for a way to cut labor costs and/or speed up turnaround time.

Another option is a one-sided photographic spiral bound “event book”. We have several cover and page designs in two sizes (8.5x11 and 10x13) that will compliment any photographic session. Choose from two layout options, 6-up and 12-up or mix the pages.

The third (and most economical) way to display your images in hard-copy form is the two-sided “proof book”. This press product is an 8.5x11 hard cover book with 4, 6, or 9-up layout options. Since it is a press-printed book, the dot pattern helps prevent scanning and protects your images by inhibiting copying.

Last but not least, we offer the traditional proof, still a favorite of many of our photographers. You can order them plain or with the word “proof” printed on them. When ordering a double set (one with “proof” and one without), the second set is only an additional 20%. This enables your customers to preview the set with “proof” printed on them and have the second set ready to fulfill orders.

We can burn a CD for any school administration program. Five years ago, many schools didn’t use admin programs. But now, almost every school uses them to organize activities from lunch programs and library check-out to maintaining all of the students’ personal information. We can burn the admin CD when we receive the job and ship it back to you ahead of the packages to get it into the hands of the school as soon as possible.

We also burn Yearbook CDs for any of the major yearbook companies. These CDs include the color corrected images and retouched files (for the students who ordered retouching). As a result, your yearbooks will look even better in the eyes of the school. We pride ourselves on this service; not every lab offers it.

ID cards are a very important security feature in schools today. We offer plastic or laminated ID cards with or without bar codes. You have the option to customize the ID card layout to include the school’s colors and/or logo and/or a hole-punch for hanging from a clip or lanyard.

Many schools still use Rolodex cards to organize their student information. Century Color can print Rolodex cards featuring the student’s image and any of the information included in your database. We also offer a variety of printed service items that can be used for awards and organizational purposes. All of these products (and more) can be customized to meet the needs of your schools.
