In Adobe® Photoshop® there are many ways to convert
an image to black & white. When you can, you should
use adjustment layers. Adjustment layers allow you to make
a change and modify it later without affecting the integrity
of the original file. The steps below illustrate 3 common
ways for black & white conversion. Experiment and see
which method works best for you.
|
1) Open an image in PhotoShop
2) In the top navigation bar choose 'Image', then
'Adjustments', then 'Desaturate'.
This will eliminate all color from the image.
It is the easiest way to make a black & white
but not necessarily the recommended process for
optimal results. |
