A few words from an Album Spinner™ fan... July 2010
Eileen Brevegleri, of Massachusetts, was one of the first to take advantage of our free offer and downloaded Album Spinner™ soon after we made it available. And she hasn't looked back since. Here is a recap of our recent conversation and some great quotes from Eileen.
I started out our conversation by asking Eileen how long it took her to learn to use Album Spinner™ and start producing sellable albums. She said she watched the free tutorials for about and hour and then started using the program. She admits that it took her a few sessions to really get the hang of it, but that it wasn't long before she was producing beautiful albums within two hours!
"If your time is precious, then you need to use this program. Anyone can learn it." She went on to say that Album Spinner™ offers everything Photoshop offers, "but is so much easier, everything is right there. There is no exporting or importing like in Photoshop. Photoshop is just too much work, everything is another step." Eileen designs approximately 30 albums per year, so she certainly appreciates the value of a program that makes designing easy and fast.
When I asked Eileen what her favorite feature in Album Spinner™ is she felt there were just too many great features to narrow it down. First she said the overall ease of the program, which led to her commenting on the clone feature. Being able to clone the changes or features of a page or a photo definitely seemed to be one of Eileen's favorite facets of Album Spinner™. This feature allows you to copy edits made to a page or picture (i.e. strokes, opacity changes, etc.) and apply those same elements to as many other pages or images as you desire, "it takes two seconds, bang, done. You don't have to worry whether you used the same stroke width."
And my all time favorite quote from Eileen during our conversation, "You're nuts not to use this (Album Spinner™). I think it's great that Century Color offers it for free, but if I had to pay for it, I would."
Thanks Eileen, it's always a pleasure to spend some time chatting with you, especially when it's a topic you are so passionate about.
