For many years, photographers have been providing wallet size glossy prints for school yearbook pictures. With the transition to digital, yearbook companies now prefer a digital file to the traditional yearbook glossy.

Photographers using Century Color for their senior packages can now provide CD's of all seniors photographed to the yearbook printer. Instead of handling and organizing hundreds of wallet size prints, you can now give your client one CD formatted to the exact specifications needed by the yearbook printer. It's faster, easier and best of all your images reproduce with better quality in the yearbook!

How to Order

To get started, your first step is to supply us with a list of schools you service. We will enter these schools into our system. When placing a senior order, select the student's school from the list you provided, check the box to order a digital yearbook photo and type in the student's first and last name. It's that simple! This image is now flagged to be included on the yearbook CD.

Yearbook Deadlines

As the yearbook deadline approaches, it is time to make final preparations for producing the CD. It is very important to follow this schedule exactly in order to insure on time delivery of your CD.

Place all final orders for digital yearbooks 10 working days before the yearbook deadline. Once you have placed your final order call Century Color immediately to place your yearbook CD order. Within 5 days of your call, contact sheets will be printed in alphabetical order for your review. You then have 2 days to review the contacts and call us with any corrections and/ or changes. From the time of your second call, a final CD will be burned within 48 hours. This will get your CD to your client before the yearbook deadline. Any changes to this schedule will cause delays in delivery.
